Notes

For the best flavor, allow the beef to brown properly before adding the remaining ingredients, as this creates a rich, savory taste. Avoid overcooking the cabbage so it stays slightly crisp and retains its fresh texture. Using fresh garlic and ginger will give the dish a more vibrant and aromatic flavor compared to dried alternatives. If you enjoy a little spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to bring some heat. This recipe is also excellent for meal prep lunches since it stores and reheats well. For a more filling meal, serve it with steamed rice or your favorite noodles.
