Method
- Preheat – Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the Cauliflower – Slice the head of cauliflower into 1/2 inch thick steaks, breaking up wedges into even, bite sized pieces.
- Season – Add the cauliflower to the center of the baking sheet. Drizzle with the oil and melted butter and toss to combine. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, salt, paprika, and pepper for the seasoning. Sprinkle onto cauliflower and toss to evenly coat.
- Roast – Spread the cauliflower evenly on the baking sheet and bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 to 20 minutes, until cauliflower reaches desired crispiness.
Notes
Bake time will slightly vary depending on the size of your florets or slices. You may substitute additional oil instead of butter if you prefer not to use any butter. For a parmesan version, sprinkle half a cup of shredded parmesan cheese over the cauliflower during the final 5 minutes of baking. For air frying, skip the butter and toss with 2 to 3 tablespoons of olive oil, then air fry at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 15 minutes, flipping every 5 minutes, until golden and tender.
