Ingredients

  • 200 g rolled oats
  • 60 g chocolate protein powder
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 120 g natural peanut butter
  • 80 ml honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 to 3 tbsp milk if needed

Equipment

  • 1 Large Mixing Bowl For mixing all ingredients
  • 1 Wooden Spoon For combining the mixture
  • 1 Measuring Cups and Spoons For accurate ingredient measurements
  • 1 Baking Tray or Plate For chilling protein balls
  • 1 Parchment Paper To prevent sticking

Method

  1. Add rolled oats, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, peanut butter, honey, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract to a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix thoroughly until a thick chocolate dough forms.
  3. If the mixture feels too dry, add milk one tablespoon at a time until it holds together easily.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes.
  5. Using slightly damp hands, roll mixture into 20 equal protein balls.
  6. Place on a lined tray and refrigerate for another 30 minutes until firm.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

If the mixture feels too wet, add extra oats. If too dry, add a little more honey or milk until the texture becomes soft and easy to roll.
